I'm hoping that lady has some faith in the white race, I'm sure she grew up, in some very bad times, when white people weren't so nice !!!
Did anybody get the error scope magazine this month, after seeing that Indiana state quarter, anything is possible !!
Wow! It's great to put a face with a profile! You are exactly 180 degrees from what I thought. I expected a little old, bald headed guy with glasses. LOL! You look like some of my mountain friends here in South Carolina!
I think; this kind of error it's called RAILS. The pictures are not very clear any way. Those kind of marks can be seen in different denominations.
The pictures of the Indiana quarter are very bad, but it does just look like post strike damage. Basically because it appears to involve both the field and relief areas. If something scraped the coin that can happen. But if it was on the dies whatever caused it would have to affect both the fields and go down into the recessed protected areas in the die. That is almost impossible and if it did happen the scrapes in the field of the die would be much deeper.
I'll write the article out tomorrow, their having a protest at my sons college, so I have to get over there, this country is loosing their minds !!!!
Thank Swamp Yankee for bring back that subject. But; I think... they're talking right now about The Indiana Quarter. I love my finding (1925 Mercury Dime) any way. Thank again.
I examined the Indiana quarter that was the subject of the Errorscope article. It has severe pre-strike damage.
Mike please; can You tell me where I can send this Mercury 1925, to be examined closely by some one with experience in errors? Anticipated thank a lot for your help and happy Thank giving day.
