1925 Half Dollar

This Soldier of the South Memorial half dollar is pretty well worn. Any idea as to its condition or value?

VF-40.......35-40 dollars.

 

Wouldn't grade with the big three due to the rim damage.

 

Honest and circulated though. Had I come across this one, I'd have scooped it.

 

At 35-40 dollars, I'd scoop it too, might go 50-60 dollars

 

Just an FYI your coin is called a Stone Mountain Commemorative half dollar if you are trying to research it.

 

There is no VF 40 grade.
I might be VF 25.

 

I know. It was the scotch.......I didn't correct it (after I realized my mistake) because I wanted some enterprising fellow to correct me. Bravo.......

 

Well, I didn't know if you meant (EF/XF 40) or,
if you typoed the 40 and meant VF 30.
Cause as I said, I see a ton of wear and am at 25.

With those rim dings it probably won't grade but I'd put it about a 25.
