1925 d merc ? Error

    20180612_034311.jpg I have a 1925 d merc , and not sure if this has a miss print or if it something else the letter i on the reverse side caught my attention when i zoomed in on it , please does anyone know what this might possibly be

    So tell me - why did you zoom in on the DAMAGE on the 'I', but completely ignore the DAMAGE on basically ALL of "AMERIC"?

    Damage and errors have NOTHING to do with each other.

    That is why i posted the question nit sure myself , new to this , i zoomed in on the i because that one just looks wierd for just damage , but deffinately appreciate the help like i said wasnt sure

    Coins are not printed.. They are struck.. Not a Mistrike on the Letters. Just damage.

    Might be from a coin rolling machine as the damage seems consistent in a circular motion. JMO

    Ya the marks on merica i understand but the ones on the i , n , and o , are just wierd to me how something that small and the individual letters get damaged without ones right next to it oh well dont bother me none just curious , its a beauty to me lol
