I found this 1923 penny no mint mark penny with an odd yellow color different from all the other pennies even the newer ones in good condition. I’m not sure but it looks like it has possible errors? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Welcome to CT!! Your coin looks to be plated with something causing the yellow color. At least that's what it look like to me. Wait for more opinions on this one. As for the errors your are seeing, can you be more specific? All I am seeing is damage from circulation no obvious errors.
It looks like it has doubling on certain letters and the date. It also looks like it has different makings in the background but I’m taking these pics with my iPhone so I can’t zoom in too close.
I was afraid this was gonna be a question about doubled dies of some sort. Unfortunately my eyes just aren't good enough to see those unless the photos are really good and the doubling is "in your face" obvious. Hopefully someone will be along shortly who can better answer your question.
