Just looking for information, thoughts, suggestions as I'm new to the whole coin game. I'm working on my lighting and photography as I go.

Interesting coin. Looks original with that molten old tone on it. AU to UNC maybe. A lot of light on the coin when you took the photo. Play with the lighting some.

I agree with high AU/low MS. Eye appeal is only average at best. I do not care for the streakiness, but it does look like there's probably some decent luster there.

PS- I'll go out on a limb and say it just makes it over the MS threshold. Perhaps MS62-ish. Just a generic quality MS coin, however.

You are doing a lot better at coin photography than I am. These good folks here will give you a treasure trove of useful info. Welcome aboard.

can we get a close up of the Trust on the front of the coin. theres a lot to look for here also as far as VAMS, but the doubling on the Motto in god we trvst would be one of the easiest and a Rarity of 3. Higher the rarity number the more desirable collector interest in the die variety.

I'm thinking possibly VAM-5C? To be fair I just got into VAM identification this year so I can be wrong. :)
Looks like one of the rusted die varieties to me.
