I recently acquired a wheat cent collection on a vintage board that contained a 1922 D and a 1922 “broken D” variety. I’m certa now expert and I know a lot of these coins were altered so I would love input from those more educated on the variety. This was an old collection assembled in the 40s/50s and then left untouched for the last 60ish years. Not sure if that matters when it comes to fakes. I have taken what I think are pretty representative photos. Thanks in advance for any help. Nice looking. Now you just need the no D variety. I would strongly recommend that you buy a graded one as that’s the one that is faked.
