1921 SLQ!!

Check out this beauty!! Great looking quarter but way out of my price range! How about some of you deep pocket collectors??

Yeah, definitely messed with. It's so bad, I thought it looked fake for a second.

 

Polished.

 

It's pretty and has a really nice strike, but I've seen actual BIN MS examples for only a fraction of that bid price. I wouldn't pay over $10 for that coin TBH.

 

I'll take 2-1921 SLQ's Mint State examples at only a 'fraction of that price'($304)!

I don't think the coin is all that bad. The dealer is a member here.

 

The 1921 is a $1000 coin in MS.

 

I thought it was a 1927 for some reason Not too bad for a '21.

 

It sold for $445. And an obvious cleaning.
When there is that much wear, and still a "shininess"
but no luster, it has been harshly cleaned.

 

He posted good clear pictures with no intent to deceive. Probably the best dealer in this part of the country.

 

Shoot.........I'd trust the man indeed.

 

Everyone remember that when someone pipes up and says that a cleaned coin is worthless or "only worth bullion".

 

I don't think 'Dutchman' would perpetuate (perpetrate?) such shilly shally......
