What would either of these coins grade, if anything? Been in the family for maybe 40, 50 years or longer just sitting around in a box. Look nice, but I know nothing about grading. Thanks

This is what I meant by cropping and posting Full Image (and rotating)

I'm sure someone will comment on grading...not one of my long suites.

A lot of people on here use a free program/app called PhotoScape. That is what I have been using, a little rudimentary but easy to use and free!

Are either of these coins mint state quality ? Just trying to determine if it is worth the expense of having them slabbed. Appreciate any help.

I believe both coins show signs of circulation/handling, neither are mint state. Not worth the cost of certification. Buy a couple of Air-Tite brand holders to put them in if they are family treasures.

Not worth the cost of grading. Nice but circulated.

Thanks longshot and Collecting Nut; pretty much what I suspected. Saves me a few bucks and into air-tites they will go.
