Ok so about 20 minutes ago I purchased a 1921 Morgan dollar, a 1963 Franklin in very good condition, and 20 1964 d Franklin half dollars for $20. I believe the 1921 Morgan dollar he's a pinhead Verity. However the dive line doesn't seem like it's in the same position as the photos I see what do you think have something here? I also found 2 RPMs in the Franklin's and two possible ddr's I will be posting here shortly. PICA0185.jpg PICA0191.jpg PICA0183.jpg PICA0183.jpg

Is lack of knowledge on them as well as his eagerness to so then gave me the impression he probably stole them from his grandpa or something I don't know and it's not my place to say all I know is I won.

Melt is about $211, so I'd say you did pretty good. Now about "...probably stole them from his grandpa..." I don't know.

expat Remember you are unique, just like everyone else

They are Kennedy halves by the way not Franklins. I will assume it is a typo in your opening text

It's my understanding that it is the dye mark in between the little bun on her hat and running towards the leaf and they close up that I posted third photo

I think he just didn’t know how to spell “variety.” Just like he meant “Kennedy.”

I figured out that misspelling beforehand. I'm trying to understand what the "pinhead variety" is. Perhaps John aka @messydesk can enlighten me.

So, you got a steal of a deal from someone who may have stolen the coins and you cry, "losers/weepers"? Not a good look from my perspective. Just saying...

I think he meant "Thornhead," and this is not a Thornhead. For starters, the coin pictured is a 1921-P, and the Thornhead is a 1921-S variety.
