1921 High Relief Satin Finish ?

    I have this 1921 it has some luster and looks like the antique finish, I am not sur how to identify . Anyone ?

    There is one known that has a sandblasted antique finish, but this was a special strike (I assume experimental) piece. It does look similar to yours overall, but I don’t know if there any die markers that can help you identify you’d as the second known. I really wouldn’t get your hopes up though, it is likely just some environmental or heat damage. The SP coin has a pretty sharp strike while yours shows some weaknesses through the circulation wear.

    Here is the Coinfacts image of the known piece. I see one identifier on the dot between In.God that seems to have a die chip on the known piece which I’m not seeing on yours. I assuming that there would have been made on the same day with the same set of dies, so without that apparent chip, I doubt that what you have was intended to look that way by the mint. 7BE427B7-4FAC-46C6-9CC9-61107C5223FF.jpeg
