Morgan's are highly addicting. They are large silver coins that are attractive and relatively inexpensive. I love finding nice MS 1921's because they can be had for the smallest premium.
21 Morgan's are common and easy to find in MS graded. They do have a way of getting under your skin. So much so that you'll want to collect Morgan's and nothing else.
Welcome to CT!!! Nice coins. I Love Morgans!! Have lots in my collection and carry a 1921 and an 1885 around in my pocket.
Funny thing I only have one Morgan in my collection now, other than some with stickers. For some reason I always have a 1900 O/CC, my favorite Morgan.
No, I am still new with my inherited collection but I've gotten a couple of books, as suggested by members and still just going through them and posting pics as to what I have. I don't really know much about die varieties and if I go on internet, I tend to go down a "rabbit hole", lol. I will research die varieties, THANK YOU !!
Me too. I find the artistry and history behind them fascinating. I think the Bowers book on Morgans is great because he goes year-by-year giving a short historical sketch of events in the nation, which is great background.
Love those 21s! Found another one at my local coin shop while cherrypicking his $20 bin. A beautiful 21-P in the AU58 or MS64 range. Love the design of the 21s compared to older dates.
I'll post my 1880 Morgan when I get home. It's in au condition. Almost uncirculated. I love these so much. I want more.
Great looking Morgan Shrews. And you've already learned the value of it. (Family is worth more than $$$).
