Causing the year and possibly the mint mark, if one would’ve been present to be imprinted. Along with other damage. The sides are thin in those places where damage is, photos don’t show it very well, sorry. No I don’t have a scale, yet! Lastly I’ll apologize for lack of microscope photos. Any input on exactly what this penny is to educate me would be greatly appreciated! Also any tips on telling the difference between actual errors and PMD would be great!
