1919 S wheat die clash?

    It looks like someting else is going on behind Lincolns head on the hairline. Can you zoom in on that spot?

    That would be a clash. You can not only see the N at the throat but part of the E is also there.

    I don't know how you saw that!!!! You people are amazing!!! This is now my prize penny, I just love it : ) this is the area that I'm struggling to get a clear photo of but can see it clearly with my 45x

    Marie, you nailed it. That’s an area that takes clashes better on the 1943 steel cents than on these copper cents, for some reason or other, so that’s a good eye finding it on this cent.

    I just bought a 3lb. troy bag, big mistake. This was my best find, a few lamination errors, most of the wheaties look like parking lot coins

    Actually, I am not sure. The right side of the Y shows a counterclash in this photo.
