1919 Buffalo nickel with die crack !

    Found this coin on ebay ,nice die crack running from the E in five cents up about three quarters of the way up 1550329942751-408884410.jpg 1550330014518-581531251.jpg 1550330061215-918001823.jpg 1550330104997-172668768.jpg 15503301366391533507202.jpg

    It's a peeling lamination crack, not a die crack.

    I disagree it looks to be a peel and for the most part the surface is flaking but it is a die crack. No doupt the medal mixture wasn't alloyed properly

    It sure looks as if the area in question is recessed and not raised.
    I agree on the improperly mixed alloy.
