Picked this up for $1. Seems like the O. ROTY is doubled. Is this common? 1st set of Pictures are a bit blasted with light to show details. The second set a bit more like in hand and almost circam. PhotoEditor_20191019_184441232.jpg PhotoEditor_20191019_184315091.jpg

Yea, pretty common in that grade. If I'm not mistaken, they are 80% silver though.

Know nothing about it. But here is a 1918 50 Cent and then yours.

That's a good pick up at under melt. I'm unfamiliar with such a variety, but sure looks doubled.

I thought so too (18 cents under melt), and them when I looked at it closer under good light saw the doubling on the engraver's name. I didnt see anything on Numista or NGC world coin price guide about a variety so thought I would post the Coin and ask the question.

I have one but no doubling on mine, good find. Mine has extra metal on the bottom of the C. 1572300965286299244906.jpg
