    How do we know it's a wheat penny? You didn't post a picture of the reverse side! :wacky:

    No.. Just circulation wear and tear.. 102 years worth.

    It is as Paddyan98 says. Many of ID points for the 1917/17 obverse are dinged on yours and hard to verify, but "TRUST" lettering does indicate it is not a DDO. The "7" is the most predictable, but damaged on yours. If you look at eBay, usually 60+ % are not the 17/17 they claim. Jim
