Well I went to my first coin show this past weekend and picked up 2 more SLQs for my "poor mans set". The 1917 S TII was in a 2x2 holder inside an album with a bunch of circulated coins. The owner had written on top of the 2x2 "No Date S". I could clearly see it was a 17 and I took it out of the album, handed it over to the owner and asked how much? He looked it over and said 5 bucks. I said SOLD! Ten minutes later I was sifting through another collectors album of SLQs and came upon the 20D. He had it originally priced at 35, marked that price out and then had 20 bucks on it. I offered 15 and he took it. Now obviously I would love to have full dated coins for my set, but I think I came out pretty well for only 20 dollars. I can't wait to go to the next coin show. Grades/Opinions/Value?
