1917-s type 2 SLQ some help on grade

    If it's not an MS coin (there is wear, right!?) and if it's too good for an XF (what I would say) then we can agree it should be an AU, right? PCGS starts adding the FH designation at AU55, and there is a way to find out if your coin qualifies ;-)

    Micbraun its an expensive way to find out though. Especially if its not ms. If it is ms and full head then its worth the dough

    If you are a dealer and need to make a profit then I guess it wouldn't make any sense. As a collector I would send it in if I thought it was problem-free and could get the FH designation. Not an expert on the series so I don't want to say more :)

    I just looked at one for sale at Northeast coin and it doesn't look as good . I'ts a NGC AU50
