1916 P Buffalo Nickel Error??

    All I see is damage around the front legs.. There is no 5 legged variety.

    That's all damage between Leg # 2 and Leg #3


    ....and in numerous other areas of the reverse

    Thanks Gents, I know that it had damage. It just looked like there was a something behind the front left leg other than the damage (gauges). Appreciate the help and your time

    The legs are damaged but since this is the Philadelphia mint you need to carefully check the date for the doubled die variety. If it is it will be clearly visible. It is quite unmistakable. If you're in doubt post a close-up photo of the date.
