Back on topic ddddd got it in post 5 Au.53.
This one of those Au coins that has great eye appeal, very difficult to image as to the luster the naked eye sees.
If my entire collection graded this I be one happy camper.
In hand it's a gem....image it well looking more xf.
No matter 1916 was a year of change and this is a sweet example of the out going quarter
This is the coin while walking a show you see in a case and just ask to see it, as it has eye appeal .

I actually thought AU 55 at first and then adjusted it one level down to be more conservative. It definitely has the AU look and I'm certain the eye appeal is there (since you picked it up).

I purchased this from John, I'm very pleased with it ,I find Au. Coins very fascinating as they have a natural look to them...yet full details of devices.
