    The oversized photos had me at AU50, but the slab photos are screaming XF45. I will be conservative.

    At first I was leaning towards 45. Further examining I have to go with:

    XF45. Nearly all details visible, but wear on most of them.

    XF-45 but there's a piece of polished malachite on the slab.

    Correct cut this slab about 40 some years ago. Yes the good stuff.
    I've also have a little knowlege of stones and jewerly.

    I have another I'll post . I did ask Jim if he cut cabs....he cuts gems...I have a very old piece of Torquise that be nice to have cut.

    Here's one, well two of mine. Hope you don't mind the selenite. Both malachite pieces are from the Congo.

    Back on topic ddddd got it in post 5 Au.53.
    This one of those Au coins that has great eye appeal, very difficult to image as to the luster the naked eye sees.
    If my entire collection graded this I be one happy camper.
    In hand it's a gem....image it well looking more xf.
    No matter 1916 was a year of change and this is a sweet example of the out going quarter
    This is the coin while walking a show you see in a case and just ask to see it, as it has eye appeal .
