They probably did it to get back at PCGS. Put it back in the MS62 greenie and scotch-tape it up if you cracked it.
You see this is why I wouldn't crack it out ! My philosophy is I know what's in the holder ....I rather convince you that the coin is under graded and its worth than roll the dice with a TPG that for the most part fickle on grading. At Baltimore I showed my 1827 Bust half to maybe 15 dealers that Anacs graded as Cleaned. Out of 15 each reply was "noway"! So out of its plastic tomb it will come. As the 15 whom said noway none were asked do you think or believe that this has been cleaned? Each that were shown the coin were asked what do you think this is worth? So 15 out of 15 can't be wrong. A side note the 15 asked were not the run of the mill dealers....all were well known, with years of experience in the hobby.
These TPGs are in another world. Two-thirds of us gave this a gem grade. Crack it out, send them back the plastic, then tell them to stick it in their a.. uh ear.
Yeah, I got hammered by ANACS on my first and only submission I sent them. They seemed to be AU-58 happy with me. I have not cracked them out, but I will be soon.
