    IMHO, it is an EF-45! I may be wrong but I believe that there are just too many hits on both the Obverse and Reverse and too much wear on Lincoln's hair, cheek and beard to qualify as an AU.

    The coin is not a fake, it;s justa badly pitted planchet that;s why it has that apperance i would grade it XF40 wear on the stalks and cheek bones.
