1914 no mm wheat penny (possible proof )

    I checked the listing in red book about this coin. Looks
    as though there were a very limited number of 1914 no

    1914 Cent. No Mint Mark was minted at the Philadelphia Mint
    75,238,000 were struck

    Only the ones in very good condition have a premium. Yours is circulated and not a proof cent.

    Not a proof. You can see on your coin the inside rim goes at an angle into the field. On a 1914 proof the angle would be at 90˚. In other words square

    No, this is a normal business strike. I should have mentioned in your other post that the Lincoln cent never had a mint mark until 2017 and only for that year as a celebration issue. The lack of a mint mark simply means they were made in Philadelphia.
