<p>
This estate collection is made up of quite a few coins with hairlines. When looking at some of the key coins, what impact on grade/value is there when the coins look like these two? As you can see from this page, the owner picked coins that all looked similar in condition. There are not that many 1913 S quarters. I would have to think even in this condition there is a demand for a coin that looks like this. </p><p> </p><p>As a side note: Considering some of the damage that has been done to some of the coins in the collection by storing them in albums in less than perfect conditions, honestly I am glad the collection doesn't contain many high grade coins. As a collector, (me) I am glad I never got into storing my coins in albums. I know some collectors like them, but I am forever scared after seeing this collection. I just wouldn't risk my investment.</p><p> </p><p>Thanks for your thoughts on net grade and depreciated value.</p><p> </p><p><a href="http://s235.photobucket.com/user/USS656/media/1913SObv2_zpsb0715f31.jpg.html" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="http://s235.photobucket.com/user/USS656/media/1913SObv2_zpsb0715f31.jpg.html" rel="nofollow"><img src="http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee123/USS656/1913SObv2_zpsb0715f31.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /></a></p><p> </p><p><a href="http://s235.photobucket.com/user/USS656/media/1913SRev1_zps048ef977.jpg.html" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="http://s235.photobucket.com/user/USS656/media/1913SRev1_zps048ef977.jpg.html" rel="nofollow"><img src="http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee123/USS656/1913SRev1_zps048ef977.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /></a></p><p> </p><p><a href="http://s235.photobucket.com/user/USS656/media/1914SObv1_zps542526a8.jpg.html" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="http://s235.photobucket.com/user/USS656/media/1914SObv1_zps542526a8.jpg.html" rel="nofollow"><img src="http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee123/USS656/1914SObv1_zps542526a8.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /></a></p><p> </p><p><a href="http://s235.photobucket.com/user/USS656/media/1914SRev1_zpsa5a764f8.jpg.html" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="http://s235.photobucket.com/user/USS656/media/1914SRev1_zpsa5a764f8.jpg.html" rel="nofollow"><img src="http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee123/USS656/1914SRev1_zpsa5a764f8.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /></a></p><p> </p><p><a href="http://s235.photobucket.com/user/USS656/media/Page3Obv1_zps51048be3.jpg.html" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="http://s235.photobucket.com/user/USS656/media/Page3Obv1_zps51048be3.jpg.html" rel="nofollow"><img src="http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee123/USS656/Page3Obv1_zps51048be3.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /></a>
</p><p><br /></p>
