I bought this dime off of eBay for $2.50. I know this isn't worth a to much, but does anyone have a rough estimate? If I were to resell it, I know i probably wouldn't get over 10 dollars.

$4 retail if it hasn't been cleaned. $2.50 is fair.

Are you going to try to flip it and make $2.50? Lol looking at it for years to come is worth more than $2.50 :)))

I'll just hang on to it, maybe in 500 years it will be worth a lot...

    doug444 STAMPS and POSTCARDS too!

You're working for less than a buck per hour; set your sights higher.

Pick out a dozen attorneys way out in the suburbs or the small towns near yours. Send each a postcard offering to make sealed bids on coins in estates.

Small lots of 10 or 20 coins aren't worth an appraiser's time, plus in theory it disqualifies them from buying.

Use Martindale to find attorneys' specialties and addresses; do NOT call them. Don't send a letter, use a postcard. PM me for more info, this is great fun despite generally-spotty results, and the possibility of a real bonanza is always there.
