Thanks. The Lost Dutchman once told me that it is important to make your photo look like the coin (....or you will end up having returns etc). His photos always seem to be a good depiction of his coins. These last photos I took are actually beginning to look like the coin in hand.
MS-64 or a slider to 65 no matter it's a very pretty coin congrats on a great purchase! I love the tone color....great eye appeal
ldhair gave me the suggestion to direct the lighting in the direction of the scratches which resulted in the photos you see now.
Beautiful pictures, amazing coin... will pony up a MS64 also, but would pay MS65 money it for the toning alone.. probably more.
I also bought this bright white example at FUN. Yes, I know I am a sick puppy when it comes to buying 12-S nickels. There are actually a few more MS examples available for sale today than there were 6-months ago. I hadn’t reported it here yet but a small hoard of them is slowly making its way through the dealer network. Very best regards, Collect89
The grade is PCGS MS65 PCGS liked it enough to let it slide into a MS65 holder. IMO it is an MS64.8 so MS65 is appropriate. It is very pretty:smile. Now in the fashion of King Solomon, we must cut the coin into multiple pieces & send one piece to each person that guessed MS65.
