Mint marks aren't doubled dies. If the mark look doubled then it would be a repunched mint mark (RPM). The mint mark was never part of the process where a doubled die gets created. The mint mark was punched into a working die after the die was made from the working hub.

That said, yours doesn't look repunched. I'm also in the VF 35 group.

Just not enough for me to say either way. At that level, the doubling wouldn't add much value, so not worth losing sleep over. Just have to enjoy the nice 11s as is. :)

    NO,

The mintmark was punched by hand, and separate from the rest of the die.

So, it is not a doubled die (correct term).

If it is doubled, then it would be a Repunched Mint mark or RPM

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

I'd call the coin a VF-30. The wheat ears aren't strong enough, the cheek is too flattened, and there doesn't appear to be any luster. The hair is also too worn for anything higher, in my opinion. It doesn't appear 40 in these pics.

I also see zero traces of doubling of any kind.
