I found this 1911 cent in circulation years ago, and is the only noticible error I have ever found. Only the "In God We Trust" is doubled. Any thoughts on this coin or its value ?

I have seen several from that era that has die deterioration on some of the lettering, but a photo through a loupe or magnifier if the camera doesn't have macro function. Also rotate the cent so the light falls strongly on that area.

It sure looks like a full double strike but it didn't shift much so the value is less.

You'd get a decent price for it on Ebay, if you post great pics and pics of both sides, since the reverse has to have doubling somewhere on it. :kewl:

    Ribbit :)

Ps: Please post a pic of the reverse. ;)

Okay, I think I have the pics inserted. Not the best, but as good as I
can get with my camera. Anyway, The doubling seems to be mostly on the In God We Trust,
maybe a little near the left wheat ear on the rev.
This is really the only noticible error coin I have ever found.
    Any thoughts ?? Thanks !!
