1,000 silver dimes X .47 = $470.00, I even round that up to $500.00 even. Let's do this! Tell me where you want to meet to finalize the deal.

What is the antagonism against this coin, if not each other? This is a LOVELY coin.

I hope all of the people bickering here have not made the OP dislike the coin that he is obviously proud of. And he should be, it is a lovely and collection worthy coin. Maybe he paid a little too much, a lesson that will pay for itself with a lifetime of knowledge.

I don't understand how someone can say that he is not a real coin collector. I am going to run him through the real coin collector checklist to see for myself:
    1. Is the collector a real person? From above posts, he has feelings, so I am going to say yes, the collector is a real person.
    2. Is the person collecting coins? I would say that yes, the OP is collecting coins, since he is buying them.

So, according to my check list, the OP is REAL, and the OP is a COIN COLLECTOR. Add it up and you get......(drum roll) a REAL COIN COLLECTOR!!!!!

Just because someone buys coins that are not graded and pays retail for a coin that they like does not make them an unreal coin collector....and everyone else on here is arrogant?

Stupid me, I thought they were called reeded edges. I can only hope to know as much about coins as gmac when I get smarter.
