What do you think the grade of this coin would be and has it been cleaned?

    Any information would be appreciated. 1911-5c_o1.jpg 1911-5c_r1.jpg 1911-5c_o2.jpg 1911-5c_r2.jpg

Sharpness maybe a 45, cleaned who knows, images can't be trusted.

If it has been cleaned, based on what I see here, it is an old cleaning. I'm okay with this as a straight grade in the AU range, 50? 53?

V is the roman numeral for 5.. Just in case you were not aware of that.

...except in my case. I'm not Five Kurt Bellman. I used to be considered an 8 or 9 in my younger days, but that was very long ago.

I'll say it's a 45 - straight. Like @V. Kurt Bellman said, if it's been cleaned, it's an old cleaning, and market acceptable. But I also agree that it's difficult to tell by photos.
