How much is this worth? Also, and other information, such as mintage would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
All I could find was that they were printed by the millions. I just happened to like the size of the note myself. I haven't done any research on it at all.
These are extremly common and can be found in bundles even to this day. On how many they made it´s not even listed. I guess millsions even trillions depending on what day it was at that time. Here is a good photo that explains what they were sometimes used for
I couldn't find any currency holders large enough at my local coin store :rollling:. All I know is that they used red and green seals.
I just used the sheets that hold postcards or larger. I bought them at the photo supply shop. Probably not the best for banknotes, but for low value notes, it doesn't matter to me.
I recently sold a Red & Green seal together, they don`t fetch much. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GERMAN-EM...NKNOTES-/360424296320?clk_rvr_id=311943276789
My currency book from 2000 says the ones with 7-digit serial numbers were worth $2.00 in uncirculated condition. The ones with 6 digit numbers were worth $30.00 in uncirculated condition. I think you have a 7-digit one. Still cool imo.
These aren't worth an awful lot, couple of bucks at most, as Germany was printing them by the millions during the early 20th century.
