1909VDB Received Today! Paid less than face value!

    Just received my contest coin from jaxsdad today! Not bad for a free coin! PCGS graded 1909VDB 1C MS65RD. The black and white is actually in the slab. Can't really tell if the white blob on the obverse is actually stuck to the coin or simply debris, but not bad at all for an VDB and definitely not bad for free!

    Ooooooooooo, nice prize.

    Imaging suggestion.
    To help eliminate that foggy look of your images, use a mask.
    Take a piece of non-reflective black/dark gray paper and cut a hole in it so it's about one-eighth inch larger all around the coin.
    That will cut out most of the reflected light you are getting from the background and make everything look more natural.

    This was the contest in question. The coin itself is a PCGS graded 1909VDB MS65RD. I just cut out the slab and posted the actual coin. ;)
