well I buy sell, trade, I am mostly into error coins, And alot i trade people coins they need for there extras, .. If they have not searched them for errors. Some time it's ma trading one coin for five hundred extra coins somone has, sometimes i find errors sometimes not.. Like today the best coin I found was one that had D/D on a 1943 steel penny.and it in ef-40+or-..

Well thats where "unsearched" comes into play. The roll may not be searched for errors, just for keys. Its hard to trust anyone nowadays, but you never know.

Its like the lottery honestly, there is a chance you will win the jackpot, but the chances of getting nothing is a lot higher.

I was at a coin show with a friend about 20 years ago and he was looking for an 09 S in a dealers secondary stock when he found an 09 S VDB. He tried to be honest and tell the dealer, but he was so sure he would never put such a coin in secondary he sold it to my friend for $3.00. The VDB was faint, but he sent it to PCGS and it came back graded VF Brown. With the large number of them, there are probably a lot more lurking around like that to be found.

LOL wow lucky him. Well a guy in town who heads to shows a lot has a book of counterfeits and he has 10 09-svdbs that are all fake.I bet if you bought one, you would not be able to tell the diffrence.

Seriously, I did buy a cent roll a while back on ebay that had a pretty old looking wrapper. Paid $20 I think, and I wasn't disappointed. Mostly teens/twenties with about six steels and a 22D in fine condition.
