1909S-VDB Off Center, Counterfeit, 3rd times the charm!

This showed up on what looks like a 2 day listing, it has 1 day & 8hrs left.

If the VDB was centered, could one pass as real? Any other things that led you to believe it was fake besides the off center VDB?

 

Also he has nothing else for sale, 4 buyer feedback from over a year and that might be a warning as they have never sold anything. I just had a Cal fractional sell for $399 today with no lower priced offer to a person who signed up today with no feedback. Its going to a $600k house, so i feel better, and Ebay says i am protected, though on these I always bring it to the UPS store and make a video with my phone on a tripod of the item being put in an envelope, with the label to them, then i tape it and give it to the clerk or put in the box. Then if they say it was not delivered or nothing in the envelope i have proof i did. Is there any other way to protect yourself besides stay off ebay, though i normally don't have issues with buying or selling...
