The bright flaming penny [no color adjustment, exactly as it is scanned in ] has vdb on it. I'm fairly new to coin collecting. However, VDB DOES NOT stand out very well. It appears to have been 'greased' or a grease filled die in that area if I understand correctly. Now, my question is, would PCGS accept this for grading? Or would they slab it error and assign no grade to it?

You can sort of see it how there's a distinguishable trail of /\/\\/\/\\\/\/ curving over and up to the left on the reverse.... Ah, and the coin on the left, the obverse is super fantastically toned. Don't know how or why it got that way, but it's definitely interesting, especially since it has retained most of it's cartwheel luster so along with the toning, it makes for an interesting wobble [/QUOTE]
