A trick that works with my microscope is that I rotate the coin 360 degrees, if the anomaly stays, it is probably real deal, if not, it disappears and is either a scratch or ding.

Hi Everyone,
Serched through 2 of the rolls from the bank.Halfway through the second roll I pulled out a 1970 s. I have to look at it closer to see if its a large or small date they are hard to tell it looked like a small date with a loop.Usb microscope is coming out. I'm not home now but I will post a picture later.

Nothing happening at the date but normal wear. After all, the cent is 109 years old so not in bad shape at all.

 

That's all I ask for are loomis rolls. Whole box of 2017-d pennies in loomis wrappers.
