I am sorry folks but on this one I have to disagree! The coin is already damaged due to the heating and application of the solder. If with only 5 minutes of time (yes, that is all the time it should take), you could reduce the solder blob and possibly increase the value of the coin to (*) VG-10 values or even F-12 or higher, why not do it??!! Since the Solder Wick will be on top of the coin and the heat applied directly to the Solder Wick and not the coin to remove the solder, the coin should not suffer any more damage than it already has. It is really hard to tell from the pictures but with some magnification, the coin appears to be in the high VF range and maybe EF-40. Now, if you can remove most if not all of the solder and receive a Net grade due to damage as stated before (*) from ANACS, would it not be worth it???!!! I believe so! Frank
