But if this shows anything, it shows there&#039;s a degree of imagination in this. And when no one to date has so much as even endeavored to trace an outline of this &quot;Horizontal-S&quot; they&#039;re evidently seeing in these loose fragments, I&#039;m wondering whether there&#039;s even one there.</p><p><br /></p><p>What I think, giving all benefit of the doubt, these fragments were but an attempt at an S, until the engraver saw he was going in cockeyed. He then re-aligned and punched in a good S over the cockeyed fragments. That&#039;s why no one can outline-in this &quot;Horizontal-S.&quot; It exists, but in the imagination. Top RPM.
