I have not ever seen an AU-58 priced more that a MS-63.

another strange observation, the pix of the full slab don't show the jaw ding.

But it shows in the closeup.

    Leadfoot there is no spoon

What you are seeing may very well be on the slab, not on the coin.

That said, I would inquire to the seller on this topic, and just explain that you didn't notice the mark in the photos, but after winning the coin you did and became concerned.

Hopefully they will understand. If not, don't press the issue, have them send the coin, and inspect it in-hand. If you don't like the coin, ask to return it (do it very politely and just say that "the coin is not for me", and if the seller refuses file a "significantly not as described" via PayPal/eBay and the seller will be forced to allow the return or you will get your money back.

Some constructive advice: Next time, pay better attention, and only purchase coins with a clear and penalty-free return policy.

    Hope this helps...Mike

OK, I passed on the first opportunity, but I just can't resist the chance to self promote and feed my own ego. Please read the whole thread in the link below and pay special attention to the coin listed in post #22. That coin will out perform many of the existing MS63 1921-D WLH's IMO. FWIW, the last 1921-D MS63 WLH sold by Heritage went for $9,800.
