Example 1 - $15 - Looks UNC to me but likely cleaned

With that said, I think you paid a reasonable price for yours.

Very possibly true, but first you have to find a buyer.
Catalog prices can be a good starting point, but to figure out a coin's true value, you have to see what similar quality pieces are actually selling for. I don't see any sold listings that imply that even a BU example would be worth as much as the Krause values suggest.
I would say this is VF so £4 but you will never get that.
