Bought this 1908 S Indian cent graded by PCGS as MS64RB. Thought I would take a gander at the mintmark for a possible RPM. I see a little something going on, but it's most likely MD. These pics are the best I can do. It may not be enough for a clean diagnostic.
Looks ok from here. there should be a light die scratch that connects the T in states to the denticles. Also on the REV. Right shield point connected. Left shield points away. CONECA RPM-001, CPG FS-201
Do you know where I could find any pics that show those 2 diagnostics? I am looking at the coin as best I can, but without knowing exactly what to look for, I may be missing it. I have the newest CPG, but it isn't helping me much. It did day the PUP was "denticles below date". Not sure what they mean by that.
I went on to Wexler's website and found this. Mine looks more like the top one, but the bottom one is the one listed in the CPG, which means PCGS doesn't recognize my variety.
The mintmark on your coin is at a different position than the Snow-1 1908 S/S--pictured below--compare the position of the "S" to the denticles. Coneca's WRPM-001 is a closer match.
