    Hi Cointalk chaps,

What do you suppose this little coin is worth at today's prices? Is it a collectable? How much can I expect to sell this for in Canada? (Quote me in
    Canadian or U.S. dollars please!)

    Thanks,

I bought my Roosters for just a few dollars over melt at the time. They are beautiful coins but don't trade for much over bullion value.

I have never seen roosters trade hands between knowledgable dealers and collectors for more than a few bucks over melt. Basically multiply weight times gold price and deduct dealer profit, (whatever s/he may want) to know what you can sell for. You can try to sell to another collector yourself and keep the dealer profit if you can.
