Our &quot;estate&quot; has motion sensors and lights.&nbsp; </p><p>Sorry, I digress.&nbsp; </p><p>When my father passed, his &quot;coin collection&quot; was divvied between my brother and I.&nbsp; His is still in the jar that my father used to keep his collection.&nbsp; When I got my share of the collection and it switched on an alarm that triggered my interest in coins.&nbsp; My first purchase was a Raw 1904 $20 Liberty Head, Motto Above Eagle, One Ounce Gold Coin.&nbsp; I bought it from a dealer in 2009 for $1,275.&nbsp; He told me that he was going to a show and would have my coin graded if I wanted to have it graded.&nbsp; Naive as I was, I said, &quot;OK.&quot;&nbsp; When he returned with the coin, NGC gave it a &quot;UNC Details&quot; grade: Obverse Scratched.&quot;&nbsp; He offered to buy the coin back.&nbsp; It was and is, still a beautiful coin.&nbsp; I don&#039;t care what NGC or anyone else things.</p><p>Anyway, if I want a graded coin, I buy it already graded.&nbsp; I did buy the 2009 (MMIX) ULTRA HIGH RELIEF $20 GOLD COIN for $1,500 in 2009.&nbsp; It was graded MS68.</p><p>Strike 2.&nbsp; All in all, I have enjoyed collecting coins.&nbsp; Best of luck.[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
