So looking through a few Indianhead pennies and this 1904 Fine Grade stood out to me because it Looks doubled on reverse on ONE CENT. What do you guys think about this coin is it double die?

    Holy blurry batman!
No need for the giant grainy closeups. The first pictures of the whole coin were enough to determine there is nothing there.

No doubling on either side. There appears to be an anomaly in CENT regarding the E but perhaps a chip or dent in the die. Clearer pictures of that might bear out what it is but not doubling.

It may possibly be the remains of Longacre doubling. Longacre doubling disappeared on the obverse in 1886, but can sometimes still be found on the reverses as late as 1907, and possibly til the end of the series.

What was this? In the Master Die? Interesting.
