1902 O Barber Dime Error? Reverse...

    Ahhh... Yes. That had not occurred to me. It is a possibility. Just a little more info. The "copper" looking area on the reverse is raised up maybe like a millimeter. Above that and to the left is a slightly depressed area with a somewhat circular shaped raised up ring in the depressed area. Small parts of the "O" and the "N" are visible.

    Looks like it was a button or cufflink.

    I'm guessing that's the remnants of some solder.
