Need some expert advice on this Bison note...normally, the obverse plate number is in the lower right-hand corner, about 1/4" at the 4 o'clock position relative to the red seal. This note does not have a visible plate number on the obverse, although at high magnification, I can see what looks like a very faint remnant of a number...76. Upper left-hand notation of "A" indicates that the lower right-hand plate number should read "Axx". Maybe the plate number was damaged or hidden by the fold and/or a wash/press cleaning? What do you think?
