I just bought this raw over the counter at my shop. I am thinking it should go anwhere from an MS63-MS65. Grading older gold is tough for me. I know the copper spot above the nose hurts a tiny bit, but the only other issues I see are bag marks. It looks much nicer in person than pictures(at least the ones I take), and has great luster.

    I don't see it going 65, but a decent MS-63 or 64.

Are the denticals 'mashed' at 7-o'clock (rev) or is it the photog washed out a bit?

It is a bad picture. I need to get someone else to take a good one for me. The coin looks really phenomenal in hand.

The obverse is 'stellar' but it looks as if you might have 'rushed' the reverse a tad bit. :)

I see it at 62. Luster will get it there but too baggy for higher

62 tops in my opinion. Way too many marks on the obverse
