1900 10 Rappen

    Those can still be spent in Switzerland. If you lived in Europe, you’d actually be up money. Weird that you found a 10, since it’s smaller than a nickel. I usually find 20 Rappen coins when searching nickels.

    Good point. I forgot how big it is. 1900 is pretty old! Hopefully you find some good nickels too.

    I do not see this date in my 2004 Krause world coin catalog. is it a pattern by chance ?
    I see it in 1901 but not 1900 hmmmm.

    My Krause for some reason doesn't include any of the 10 rappen for the 1880s-1900. It's a misprint though because they exist and are normal coins. They're on Numista. https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces173.html

    I see the 10 happen, but it is a different design. It exists because I see many of them on Ebay right now.

    Is your Krause a 1901-2000 by chance?

    Krause 20th century starts with 1901. This would be included in the Krause 19th century volume

    I looked in both catalogs 1900 and 1901 nothing there

    I have an old edition of Krause 19th Century and it's in there. Krause's track record on newer editions hasn't been great, so it wouldn't surprise me if they screwed up on yours
