Their mother passed a couple of years ago and going through the house she had found them. She has been wanting me to look at them. A lot going on. She sees money I see beauty. Lol!

That Barber is a nice looking coin. As was said, it is a good date, and my grade would be low grade XF— I would go XF 40. It definitely deserves to be certified, as it is a coin with good strong eye appeal, and value.

They will sell it. But not sure if they want to get certified. I probably can convince them. Lol

I'm sentimental to a fault, and I fight hoarding disorder. But.

In Dad's house, there are at least two large display cabinets filled with decorative cut and pressed glass items. My maternal grandmother collected them, and they're one of my earliest childhood memories from her house, and they passed to my mother, who's now gone.

But I DO NOT want them. They're pretty, but I just can't take on someone else's obsession/compulsion at this point. I've said I might want one or two when it comes time to break up housekeeping. But no more, please, and none at all of the Hummel plates that my grandmother collected and Mom felt compelled to continue collecting after her.

Well you may want to see if it’s milk glass, the old color glass etc. My sister in law sold an old ceramic piece… yes ceramic for a good price. Fenton etc, you could sell if you are not wanting them. Like others say some collect different things. Look at the bottom of the pieces. Blue and green glass people want that.

We'll do even better -- my brother's been a part-time antique dealer for several decades. :) I think he's got it mostly categorized already, in his head if nowhere else.
